UP by Jawbone combines wearable fitness trackers with a comprehensive app that allows users to understand the data in front of them. The in-app team was one of my all-time favorites to work on because we focused on behavior change—a set of psychological techniques to help people make long-lasting changes in their behavior. It’s like a life hack (backed by science). Smart Coach is the voice of the UP App, and it’s with this voice that we motivated users to get healthier.
